These are a go to recipe of mine – I’ve been making them for years! I realized the other day that almost all of my posts are of meats and treats – I eat 1 to 2 different veggies with every dinner so I’ve really just been slacking on posting them. These pictures are from my first harvest of green beans last year. Look at how fresh and green they are! Yum!
Easy Garlic Green Bean Recipe
1/2 lb green beans, washed and trimmed
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
Place 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of a heavy large skillet over high heat. Add green beans and let steam for about 5-7 minutes. Drain any remaining water and transfer beans to a bowl.
Add olive oil to the skillet and saute garlic for 1 minute. Add green beans and saute for an additional 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and enjoy!
