So…. I am now a proud momma of a 13 week old baby boy. You didn’t know you say? I know, I didn’t tell you. Needless to say, that’s the reason I haven’t posted in about 13 weeks. Life has gotten a lot busier since having the little one, but unfortunately, the diet must stay the same. What does that mean? I’ve been eating a lot of corn chips…and so I can get some vegetables….salsa.
Today I feel a lot more sane. The baby has gotten into a really good sleep schedule. Me and the hubby are really sick of eating out and eating junk, so I’m going to try and cook again. And I’m going to share it with you. First up.. Gluten Free Soy Free Teriyaki Beef.
Ingredients
1.5 lb flank steak, sliced thin, across the grain
1 batch my Gluten Free Soy Free Teriyaki Sauce
2 bunches green onions, sliced into 2 inch pieces
2 tbsp high heat cooking oil
Salt and pepper
Directions
In a wok or fry pan, heat 2 tbsp high heat cooking oil. Add green onions and saute for about 1 minute. Add sliced flank steak and saute for about 2 minutes. Ladle in homemade GF SF teriyaki sauce and toss. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice or rice noodles.
