So, in usual style (which is late), Easter was yesterday. I made a few different spring themed dishes for our Easter brunch, including gf mini chocolate coconut donut bird’s nests, a bouquet of flower cupcakes (for my grandma’s 86th Birthday which she recently celebrated) AND a few Easter egg fruit trays. I was up early yesterday dunking donuts in chocolate, crafting mini eggs out of coconut and naturally dying icing to make my cupcake flowers when I remembered I had also told my mom I would bring some fruit for the little ones….Thankfully this is quick and easy. If I had more time I probably would have arranged them even better but you get the idea. Also, the fruit selection at the store wasn’t that great. You could definitely do more. The egg shaped Easter baskets are from the dollar store, I couldn’t find any suitable ones on amazon but a quick google search will turn up a TON.

If you need any gluten free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, corn free candy for Easter (or any holiday) feel free to click here to shop. My favorites are pictured below along with links. Dove dark chocolates are also a favorite but BEWARE, something I realized when I was doing my Easter candy shopping – Egg shaped Dove dark chocolates are processed in a different facility and could HAVE TRACES OF NUTS. Kind of scary for someone like me who could die if I ate one – I would not even second guess eating it if the Easter bunny brought some for me! Anyways, here are a few pics of our Easter Egg Fruit Trays.
I used watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, green grapes, strawberries, and blueberries. I would have liked to also include kiwis, honeydew melon, banana slices (sliced at the last minute obviously), raspberries, and red grapes.
