I’ve made a million ribs in the Crock Pot from a million different recipes. They never seem to be as good as the ones my mom used to make on the grill. They just didn’t have enough flavor. I was making some appetizers on Super Bowl Sunday and decided to throw some ribs in the Crock Pot. Using stuff I had on hand and a combination of old recipes I came up with these. They are AMAZING! So tender they fall off the bone – hence the somewhat messy pic below 🙂
The BEST Crock Pot/Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
3 lbs Baby Back Ribs, cut into chunks of 4-5 ribs each
1 can root beer
1 Tbsp My “Everything Seasoning”
1 cup ketchup
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce if you’re not soy free)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
Cut ribs into segments of 4-5 ribs. Rub the meaty side of each segment with my “everything” seasoning and place in the Crock Pot. Pour in a can of root beer. In a seperate bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, Coconut Aminos, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic. Reserve 1/3 cup of the sauce and place in the fridge. Add the rest of the sauce to the Crock Pot. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Drain most of the liquid, brush ribs with the remaining sauce and cook for 1/2 hour longer. Enjoy!
